Lamentations 3:36-37

36 To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.

37 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

This verse points to the sovereignty of God over all things. It emphasizes that nothing can happen outside of His will or apart from His authority. The rhetorical question challenges readers to consider that human power and plans are ultimately subject to God’s control.

Hello Friends,

I was having problems trying to find explanations for these verses today. Part of the problem is that my pc doesn't want to cooperate. At any rate, I am going to go with the explanation that the google search engine has on it. There were some sites that had info on them, but I am not sure if they can be trusted. And didn't make much sense to me. So I believe that google may have this correct as far as an explanation, because I do believe that God is over all and nothing gets by Him, that He does not allow.

So please forgive me for today. As I have stated before, I am not a bible scholar, and I know that I do not have all the answers to God's Word. I am learning things as I go along in my quest to share it with you.

Thanks for coming today, and may God bless!
