John 15:13 Happy Memorial Day!!!

 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Happy Memorial Day to all my Friends today! I urge you to thank someone you know or even someone you don't know that you might see in the grocery store, that has served our country that we would have the freedoms we have. Not only those that are in active duty now but also the Veterans that have served in the past. 

Remember those that never made it home alive and their families as they mourn their loss today. 

And remember those families that have lived through their own wars when their person came home messed up by the war that they fought in.

They need your prayers.  

Jesus gave us the ultimate sacrifice as His death on the cross gave us the freedom from sin and hell. 

That is no small thing that He did. And one day, we will go to be with Him in a place far away from the ravages of this earth and its sin and war.

Those that know Him await His returning and the many that have gone before-our loved ones, await us there.  

To God be the glory forevermore.

Thanks for coming by today, Friends. I want to take this opportunity to let you know that I am going to take a few days away from my blog. I am struggling with some health problems so please pray for me, but I also have some things that I have neglected and need to get caught up with.

Romans 8:25-29

Hello, Friends. I hope you had a blessed Mother's Day yesterday. God has called many women to be mothers and many go on to be grandmothers as well. May those of us that He has called for that enormous responsibility take it serious in the raising of His precious children all across the world. 

And may He watch over those children and the mothers (and fathers) and grandmothers be safe in the crazy world we live in.

Psalm 91:1-3

 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely, he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Are you dwelling in the secret place of the most high and abiding under His shadow?
What does that even mean?

It doesn't matter whether we cry out to God in the light of day or our darkest hour of night, God hears our voice in His own ears

and we will bring comfort and help to us.

Hello Friends: I think I am back. I hope so any way.  However, I went to start up my laptop and found it will neither restart or shut down. 

And so I am doing this post on my tablet.  Which for me is harder so it will be simple today and after it is posted, I will work on my laptop.

Anyway, I needed this verse today while I am having these issues. They can be so frustrating and distracting from God's Word! 

Maybe you are better at this stuff than me. But I pray God's peace while I deal with it.

Post update May 5

Hello Friends. I apologize for not posting the last few days. Between being under the weather and having family here, I have not been able to. And today, I will be with my family again a they are coming to celebrate an early Mother's Day with me.  It will be a busy day again. 

Hopefully tomorrow, I will be able to get back to my blogg. Thank you for being patient with me during this time.

Help Me Jesus: Psalm 23:4

Help Me Jesus

Do you ever feel like Jesus is so far away that He can't or maybe even won't hear your prayers?

There have been times like that in my life.

When the cries of my heart, don't seem to be reaching God.

However, there are so many ways that we can find God.

He really is all over the internet.

Of course, we have to be careful in looking for Him there.

There are too many that would love to sell us their false teachings. 

And sadly, many get rich from those that are buying into what they are getting rich from.

Even what seems to be truth, is often not truth.

It is like eating junk food for the body.

Only what some sell, is junk food for the soul

and the mind.

That is why reading God's Word is really the best way to go when 

we need the reassurance that He is not far away.

He is closer than what we think or feel.

For the next few posts (although I am not sure how many)

I want to us to meditate on a scripture every day that will promise 

us just how close God is to us.

Scriptures that come from God's own Word, the Bible.

Carry these scriptures in your heart as we go through them.

Through good days or bad.

They are for you and I to know God's love and comfort.

And to know that He hears us,

and is with us.

Psalm 23:4: "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
