Real Purpose

 

It's true. Life has real purpose when Jesus lives in us. I have been a Christian for many years.

Don't get me wrong, I haven't always lived like it. I have tried and sometimes miserably failed.

But Jesus still loves me, fallen human that I am. 

He has never left me. Never failed me. And I wake up every day thanking Him for what He has done over the years of my life.

If you need some scripture to read today to help you navigate the rest of your day-well I have some for you below. Read them, but take them with you and know that God loves you!

 Jeremiah 29:11-13    For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Deuteronomy 31:6 ~ Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Psalm 34:8 ~ Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 ~ So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

 Isaiah 26 :3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 

Do you need some peace in your life? I think we all do at this time in our lives. And what better place to find it in God's Word? Trust Him today and He will give you peace like no other that you can get on earth!
