Trusting in God (4)

 

9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.

12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.

13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

14 Thus saith the Lord, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.

15 I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

16 Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Isaiah 43:9: -18

2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have Isaiah 43:2-8

Hello, Friends: I am sorry that I did not get here yesterday. As it was, I fell in my home. I am ok, and did not get hurt too badly but am sore today. And I wanted to make sure I don't miss another posting a scripture.

1Truly my soul waited upon God: from him cometh my salvation. 2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. Psalms 62:1-2

8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Isaiah 40:8

9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:9-10

4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again, I say, Rejoice.

5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Trusting in God

 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and. has he not make it good?  Numbers 23:19

 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God,

 he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6

 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13

John 15:13 Happy Memorial Day!!!

 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Happy Memorial Day to all my Friends today! I urge you to thank someone you know or even someone you don't know that you might see in the grocery store, that has served our country that we would have the freedoms we have. Not only those that are in active duty now but also the Veterans that have served in the past. 

Remember those that never made it home alive and their families as they mourn their loss today. 

And remember those families that have lived through their own wars when their person came home messed up by the war that they fought in.

They need your prayers.  

Jesus gave us the ultimate sacrifice as His death on the cross gave us the freedom from sin and hell. 

That is no small thing that He did. And one day, we will go to be with Him in a place far away from the ravages of this earth and its sin and war.

Those that know Him await His returning and the many that have gone before-our loved ones, await us there.  

To God be the glory forevermore.

Thanks for coming by today, Friends. I want to take this opportunity to let you know that I am going to take a few days away from my blog. I am struggling with some health problems so please pray for me, but I also have some things that I have neglected and need to get caught up with.

I John 5:1-4

 5 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
