Mary, Did You Know?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy
Has come to make you new?
This child that you delivered, will soon deliver you
Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Will calm the storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy
Has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little baby
You kiss the face of God
Mary, did you know?
Mary, did you know?
Mary, did you know? Did you know?
Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know?
Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know?
Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know?
The blind will see, the deaf will hear
The dead will live again
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak
The praises of the Lamb
Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy
Would one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy
Is heaven's perfect Lamb?
That sleeping child you're holding is the great, I Am
Mary, did you know? (Mary, did you know?)
Mary, did you know? (Mary, did you know?)
Mary, did you know? Oh

How Mary must have felt when one day she was an ordiany young girl who loved and served God, and then the next day learned she was chosen to be the mother of God's Son. Was she confused, or excited?
Did she ask God any questions about why this was happening?
Did she think to herself something like "What are you thinking, Father?"
Crazy as it might have seemed to her, God did indeed chose her to be the mother of Jesus. And He did grow up to walk on water, die for us, to save us, and eventually rule the nations.
We can only truly sumise what was in her mind and heart that day that she gave birth to Him, holding Him in her arms and gazing at this sleeping baby.
But He was heavens perefect Lamb.
And some day, we will get to meet Him.
Thanks for coming by, Friends. Have a blessed day and !
