God Will give us strength even when....

.... we don't think that we have any.

I came across a post today on Bible Love Notes that I am going to share with you. As we look to the future of the next president and what that could mean, I think this topic is of important information on who we will cast our vote for. Please read on:

The judge Stands Before the Judge

The death of Judge Ginsburg is a good reminder to consider the things that characterize our lives.

Please noteThis article is not political nor does it contain opinion. It states facts about Judge Ginsburg's career accomplishments of which she was extremely proud. Then it explains the details of a medical procedure she supported and confirms this information in an unbiased legal resource. Next it explains what the Bible teaches about the final judgment as it applies to all of us. Even though Scripture tells us to judge sin (Biblical Judgment), I have not judged Ginsburg in this article. I have simply stated facts she would have been proud to state herself.

On September 18, 2020, Ruth Bader Ginsburg died.

She had been a judge in various capacities since 1980, a Supreme Court Justice since 1993.

She will be remembered for many things, but especially for her unwavering devotion to abortion rights. Although partial birth abortion was banned by the U.S. Supreme Court, Ginsburg voted in favor of the procedure and wrote the dissenting opinion (source).

Partial birth abortion, officially called D&X, is a surgical procedure where a living, fully formed baby is delivered feet first. But before delivering the head, the skull is crushed with scissors or other sharp instruments (source). This procedure is more expedient than other late term abortion methods, saving time and money.(1)

On September 18th, the judge who staunchly advocated freedom to kill the unborn, stood before the Judge who creates each baby in its mother's womb (Jeremiah 1:5Psalm 139:13-16Isaiah 49:1).

“People are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” Hebrews 9:27

When you and I stand before the Judge, what things will define us? What things in life have our unwavering devotion? What things are we willing to accept for the sake of expediency and personal gain?(2)

Scriptures Advocating for the Pre-born

(1) When abortion was only allowed in the first trimester, pro-abortion groups insisted that babies only experienced pain in the second and third trimesters. Now they are changing their stories, claiming unborn babies don't experience pain until much later. But unbiased research shows they may feel pain in all three trimesters. See Pain of the Unborn.

(2) 1 John 1:15-17: "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever."

My Thoughts:

What the heck is the matter with a nation that will murder its own innocent babies? I ask myself, why don't they just take birth control instead? I guess some would argue that many people do not have money for that expense. But that argument really does not hold water when many people buy cigarettes or booze but don't have money for birth control. Or maybe just don't want to spend it for that.

And what about the people that can afford it but just don't want to use it.

Its so sad many babies don't even get a chance for life. And they have no say, if we don't say it for them.

Read what the Psalmist David prayed to God many years ago:

Psalm 139:13-16: "For you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mother’s womb.14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

God will hold us accountable one day if we continue to let this happen. We may not believe it's right, but do we let the leaders of our country dictate to us what we should do about it?

No. And we should not vote in those that will try.

One last note though on this post, is that for those that have had an abortion, they are not without hope. God will forgive if they ask Him. He will render out judgement for those that use it as a form of birth control. But He also will render out mercy for those that have had them.

Why? Because God is good. And moreover, He loves us!!!!

Thanks for coming by Friends. I know this topic may be heavy to read. Because it is heavy for me as I write it. I once considered having an abortion because frankly back then-so many years ago, I didn't know any better. My husband would not agree to it however and I am now so thankful that he wouldn't. God gave me the strength to get through what was going on in our lives at that time. Back then, a woman had to have her husband's permission. And I am so thankful because I love that son that I did have, with all my heart and he is wonderful man that loves God and is guiding his own family the way that God wants him to. I would have missed out on so much, if I had had that abortion!

Have a blessed rest of your day!
