Trusting in Jesus (16)

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Sometimes it doesn't seem possible to love some people. What is a Christian woman to do about a husband that is so unlovable at times, she wishes she never married him. Many files for a divorce. Many get bitter and coexist with him but don't love him.

I was one that got bitter and did stay married to him but wasn't happy with him.

It wasn't until I lost him unexpectedly to death, that I realized that I truly had loved him. We had been married 52 years and over those years we had some good times mixed in with the bad. But eventually we wandered off into our own bitter worlds.

And now, I wished that I had done something more to love his unlovable ways but couldn't because I had become unlovable right along with him.

I thank God that he is in Heaven with Jesus right now. And God has brought me through, taken care of me, and taught me a lot about mercy.

And love. His love. The kind of love that he wants us to give out to those around us. Possibly to those that are unlovable.  I have had the opportunities to help a couple of my good friends see things in a different light as they grabble with the pain and bitterness in their own lives with unlovable husbands.

I tell them: "Those fights and arguments may one day just become memories if you outlive him."       "They won't matter when he is gone because there will be so many. Is that the kind of memories you want?"

Of course, I know that they won't understand fully until they get there, if they do. But it will hit them then. And they will struggle with their part of the marriage that started out so good but then let them down.

If you are in a marriage like that, take heart. Nothing is forever this side of eternity. Marriage is hard work. Life is not easy. But God and His mercy is there when you need Him.

If what you are doing is not working, ask Him what will. As wives, you have the power of the Living God, that can transform your marriage, if you will let Him.

Thanks for coming today, Friends. God bless and know that I am praying for you, even those of you that I do not know.

And it will. Believe me.

Trusting in Jesus (15)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18

Thanks for coming by today, friends. Have a blessed morning, afternoon, or evening-whatever it happens to be when you visit

Trusting in Jesus (14)

Have you answered the door to the Savior's knock.

He wants to through the open door of your heart

To save you. To keep you. To heal you.

Because He loves you.

Time is running out.

How long before He comes back?

No one knows the day or the hour.

But if we live to be old, one day we will die.

And then it will be too late.

If you haven't opened the door for Him to come in,

do it.

Do it now.

Before it's too late for you.

Thanks for coming by today,

God bless!

Trusting in Jesus (12)

40 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. Isaiah 40:1-5

💓💓💓

With war going on in Israel and Ukraine, some Americans would question whether we should we involved in it. I mean who wants war, really? Do the American people? Does President Trump?
I don't think any of us do. Including President Trump.
However, if we know anything about the Bible, Jesus himself said here would be wars and rumors of wars.
But lests take a look at what He actually did say about that fact:

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

"These things must happen..." He said.
And He also tells us not to be alarmed.
I like what Isaiah 40:1 says.
We are to be comforted and to comfort God's people.
And, in verse 3, to prepare the way of the Lord.
Because one day, His glory will be revealed.
We do not know when. But our time here is getting shorter and shorter.
And the war that is going on right now, many believe-has a part in that event.
We must be ready, Friends.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Psalm 122:6
And then pray for the peace for the USA
Thanks for coming by today!
I pray your day will be peaceful!

Trusting in Jesus (11)

18 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies

Psalms 18:1-3

Thanks for coming by, Friends. Have a wonderful peace filled evening or whatever it is in your neck of the woods! God bless!

Trusting in Jesus (10)

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Friends, it is as simple as that.
Jesus is always the same.
He never changes.
And because he doesn't lie,
we know we can believe what he says.
In this world where lies are told to us everyday, or perhapes we even speak to others from time to time,
we can trust what Jesus says.
No other one under heaven can make that claim.
Thank God there is One greater than us,
3 persons in One,
that tells us the truth.
Amen and Amen!
Thanks for coming today,
God bless!

Trusting In Jesus (9)

19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23:19

Hello, Friends. Don't let anyone tell you that God is a liar. I ran across a video the other day, where a gay woman "preacher" stood behind a pulpit and made this assumption of God.

Granted, I did not stay there long and I do not know where she got her information. But I can tell you that it is not from the Holy Scriptures.

In fact, let's examine one other passage that tells us just what God thinks about lies.

22 Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight. Numbers 12:22

Why would God lie, when it is clear that he hates lips that do? The answer of course is-He doesn't.

He doesn't expect us to do one thing and then not do it Himself.

For in God and His Word, there is no shadow of turning. (James 1:17) He does not change, nor does His Word.

(Disclaimer) At any rate, as I said above, I do not know any more about this woman said in her video. So, I cannot really judge any more than what the title of her message is.

Who knows. Maybe she prayed about something and God hasn't answered it. I cannot say.

However, just seeing the title was enough for me not to go on.
I know better at least on that statement. God does not like it and in fact, He hates it.

Don't fall for the lies of the enemy, Friends. Whatever is in His written Word, is truth. If someone counters it without the Word, it is a lie.

Thanks for coming by today, Friends. Have a blessed day!

Trusting in Jesus {8)

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:16-21

Thanks for coming today for God's Word. May your day be blessed with good things for our Lord.

Trusting in Jesus (7)

28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Mathew 11:28-30

💖💖💖

Do you ever feel like you are laboring in vain? That you are burdened down by the troubles in and around you.

I have to be honest.

I have felt that more and more as these weeks go on.

Sometimes I just don't feel like doing anything.

I have to make myself get up and forge ahead. I have to admit, that's been my day today.

But did I pray today?

Did I read my Bible?

Sometimes doing those things seem a chore.

And yet its what Jesus calls us to do.

And if we do, he promises to give us the rest we need.

Oh Holy Spirit,

give me your rest today.

It's what I desperately need.

Thank you, Jesus.

Now, let's go!!!

Thanks for coming by today, Friends. May Jesus give you, His rest. As it beats all other and when we cannot find it ourselves, we can find it in Him.

Have a blessed day!

I Give You My Peace: John 14:27

Hello, Friends. I just have to tell you how embarrassed and sad I am with what is going on in our country. Make no mistake. I love this country. I was born and raised here and my parents worked hard to bring our family up to appreciate our God given rights here. My dad, grand dads, some uncles, my late father-in-law and some of his family and my late husband fought for this country in their respective wars to keep what we have. And I can't tell you what they would think of what is going on in all this stuff where there are those in government and mainstream media are condoning what is happening.

Friends, I am a born-again Christian. And I do not use bad language. My kids will tell you that when they were growing up, if mom used the word damn, they knew they were in trouble.

However, all this stuff going on, makes me want to use every bad word in the book. (But I will hold it back.)

Yesterday, I saw on my news feed that there are planned ICE protests all over this country tomorrow. One of them was reported to come to my city.

It is one thing to protest causes that people don't like. That is everyone's constituanal right to do so. But when it goes from that to paid people (look it up) that are leading the charge into the violence that has been going on this week in LA, that is where it ends. And many of those flag bearing people are illegals from other countries that committed their first crimes against America, by crossing our border. And have you seen one American in that huge group that carried our flag. No because they burned them. And yet, they don't want to be sent back to their own countries?

. Why are they here then, is a huge question. And if you have not been listening or watching the truth of wat is going on, you may not know, and you should be doing your own research starting with those that actually are reporting the truth.

Sometimes we (and I have been guilty of this too) like to hide our heads in the sand. If we don't see what is going on, then we don't have to deal with it. Right? But this thing is too big and too important to ignore, or we are going to lose what freedoms we have now.

There are people already in government that are trying to take them away and then lie right to our faces about what they are doing to make sure that doesn't happen.

Yeah, right. Thankfully, many many people in this country have woken up to their lies. Have you? I pray so. And I pray that President Trump will keep fighting for this country against those that are giving our country to the dogs.  He and his administration need the prayers of people all across this land to stay strong and stay the course.

He may not be someone that we like. He may seem arrogant to many. But he is smart, and he has shown us how things can get done to benefit this country. And for these 4 years of his presidency, he is who God has placed into this country, which has come through the will of the people that actually are legal and liv here.

I could go on and on about all of this. But I know your time is as precious as mine and so I will go, but I would ask you first to pray for these protests that will likely become violent, tomorrow all over the country. The men and women that will be there to help control them and protect innocent people will be in the hands of Almighty God.

And lastly I will leave you with the words that Jesus spoke so many years ago to His disciples.  I have had them this site before, but it is so appropriate for us to remember during these times.

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

God bless you and God bless Americal. Take care and be safe this weekend and every minute of every day.

12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1 Peter 3:12

💗💗💗

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-8

Thanks for coming by today, Friends. Have a wonderful and peaceful day.  And may God richly bless you.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.  Isaiah 40:8
