40 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.
3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5 And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. Isaiah 40:1-5

With war going on in Israel and Ukraine, some Americans would question whether we should we involved in it. I mean who wants war, really? Do the American people? Does President Trump?
I don't think any of us do. Including President Trump.
However, if we know anything about the Bible, Jesus himself said here would be wars and rumors of wars.
But lests take a look at what He actually did say about that fact:
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
"These things must happen..." He said.
And He also tells us not to be alarmed.
I like what Isaiah 40:1 says.
We are to be comforted and to comfort God's people.
And, in verse 3, to prepare the way of the Lord.
Because one day, His glory will be revealed.
We do not know when. But our time here is getting shorter and shorter.
And the war that is going on right now, many believe-has a part in that event.
We must be ready, Friends.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Psalm 122:6
And then pray for the peace for the USA
Thanks for coming by today!
I pray your day will be peaceful!
