A Call For Prayer

 

Good morning, Friends. I am skipping today's regular post, to ask that today will be a day of prayer for this nation that God has so generously given us. With all of the problems within the government, and world, the civil unrest, and no matter where you stand, the USA is still the very best country that we can live in.  How many of us, would really want to be residents of any other? 

And yet, there are people in our very government that would love to do away with the Constitution that so many have fought for from our nations very beginning and died for and frankly have currently died for because they love this country. 

I am not telling you who to vote for. It is your choice. But my father who was a WW!! veteran used to say he always voted for the least of the 2 evils. One side are truly and mostly godless people. But at least the other side does acknowledge the need for God to be with us. Which side is the lessor of the 2 evils, would you say should handle the business of this government, do you think? 

Jesus laid down His life for us to be free from the sin that would send us to hell, if it could. It is only by His grace that we can go forward into this battle of good and evil. For as it is written in God's word; We wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against spiritual darkness in high places. Eph. 6:12

I thank God for our military, but all of the military forces on earth cannot fully combat those forces, without God leading the charge. 

And so I humbly ask you for two things. The first is to be praying off and on all day long as voting in this country goes on. Especially pray for God's will to be done. And then pray for the protection of people that will be voting out voting and those that are overseeing it. Pray against the evil that wants to eliminate God from this country. 

And second is to get out there and vote if you have not already done so. This election is too critical and too important for missing votes that could have helped win the right people in.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post today. Our country to too important, too precious for us to lose to an evil enemy who seeks to devour us.
