When God Gets the Glory Through Our Trials

No one likes trials. and yet they are a part of life here on earth. But why does God allow them to happen in our lives Does He sit on his throne and laugh at us? Is He so big that he sees His power over us and so he causes pain and suffering to come on us? Does He hate us so much that he doesn't want to see us live a pain-free life?

I can assure you through His Word that none of those questions that I asked are true.

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever should believeth on Him, should have everlasting life.

I don't know about you but that settles it for me. God so loved me that he sent His Son Jesus so that if I believe in Him I shall spend eternity with Him someday. And that goes for the whole world and not just me.

But why then does He allow the trails and temptations to enter our lives?

As with the children of Israel, He allows to go through them so that when we get through them, by faith and believing Him to deliver us out of them, we can look back to see just what He has done in our lives so that He can always get the glory for it. And we can be a testimony to others about what He has done in our lives.

You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the Lord your God brought you out. The Lord your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear. Deuteronomy 7:19

And even though we go through these while here on earth, we have this promise to rely on:

if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

2 Peter 2:9

No matter what you are going through today know that God is watching from His throne to help you get through it if you first believed in Him. And then someday you can see the wondrous and marvelous ways that God outstretched his arm to get you through it.

Thanks for coming by Friends. Have a blessed day?
