God is Our Light and Salvation

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; whom shall  be afraid? When the wicked and even my enemies and my foes come upon me to devour me, it is they that will stumble and fall. Psalm 27:1-2

Psalm 27:1 KJV

We have just a few short weeks before the US will be voting the president in for the next four years. With all the rederick  going on between politicians, won't we be glad to just get it over with. The truth is though, that many fear what is coming for the greatest nation in the world. America. Because one group of people are trying very hard to oust capitalism and bring in communism.  The latter is what this country did in WW2 to fight against Hitler. Why would we want to let it into this country. Our enemy the devil knows how to cleverly disguise it in order to infiltrate us through a government that promises us great things and once in, they end up doing nothing for us and do just the opposite of what they say they will do. We are at a venerable place in history. Some say that we are in the end times. My question is, are we? It certainly looks that way. And it will come. We don't know exactly when. Maybe now, Maybe not now. Maybe things have to get much worse before it is here. But one thing for sure, it is on is way. And if the wrong party gets in for the next four years, America is in trouble. God will at some point grow tired of letting us play games down here to suit our own lusts and greed. And the 12th hour will come in the blink of an eye.

And so what do we do? We pray for the right leaders to be appointed for one. We pray for God to heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:14, We do our duty to this land and vote. And then also, we are not to fear. God is our light and salvation, no matter what happens. We do what we can do and then when our backs are against the wall, and we can't do anymore, we trust God do the rest.

There are Christians that need to get serious and stop expecting God to do it all. He put us here to do his good works. Are we doing them? If not, we should be. And when we do what we can, then he will do what we can't.

Thanks for coming by today, Friends. Have a blessed day in Jesus!
