Psalm 136:1-3
David wrote many of the psalms of the bible. This whole chapter. all 26 verses shows us that at the time he wrote it, his thoughts were on God, because God's love, among other things, never changes. And it is so for us today. Who would send their only Son to die on the cross for the sins of the world? God did. Without him, we are a dying and sinful group of unworthy people. He is above all gods, whatever or whoever they are. He is the Lord of all lords. He is who we need. He is all we really need. Who or what do you have to praise him for today?
If nothing else God can be praised for, it is his love towards us. But that isn't all.
