12 Simple Ways to Worship God Every Day
2. Get down on your knees to pray.
There is something about humbly kneeling to pray that changes my attitude from self to submission. That’s worship. I want to be intentional about kneeling for prayer several times a week.
Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for He is our God. We are the people He watches over, the flock under his care. Psalm 95:6–7

Many, many years ago the practice of kneeling during prayer was done in a church that I went to. And I think it might have been that way in a lot of churches. We don't often see or hear of this anymore. I think it's one way of saying to God, "I am serious about this" in whatever was being praying about.
I don't know if it is something that is still done anymore.
However, that being said, some of us are oldies now and maybe we can't quite do this as our body's health problems won't let us. I very seldom get down on the floor to do anything because it is so hard to get back up.
Kneeling in prayer is not a command that we must do. But if we can, it is an honor to our Lord.
And remember this...
There will come a day when this happens:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Philippians 2:10
Friends, if we can't or won't kneel now, we will then. It won't matter who we are, or if we are Christians or not, everyone is going to bow at the name of the Most High God.
Thanks for stopping by, have a blessed day!
