If we have paid attention to what's been going on these days, we can probably agree that we are living in some crazy days. In fact, many people believe we are living in the last days before Jesus comes back for His church.
While I believe whole heartedly that we are sure heading in that direction, I am not sure that we are quite there yet. In my opinion for whatever it's not worth, I think things in this world have to get much much worse than they are right now. I myself have heard for better than the past 40 years or so, that we are living in the last days. Not to mention even in Jesus' day, they thought back then they were at that point.
That may not be so great though. Thinking that we are not quite there yet so far living in the end times, that is.. And so that's why Jesus said that when we see these things happening, to look up for our redemption is close. Luke 28:21
And that is why when my husband passed away unexpectedly last year, I told my son, "Thats why we need to be ready for when Jesus calls us home." Because we never know when that time will come and if we haven't accepted Him, it may be too late.
Jesus warned his disciples about the false prophets that would come to deceive us. They would come as if dressed in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they would be raveningly wolves. Mathew 7:15.
In the 20th verse of that chapter, Jesus said this: "By their fruits you will know them."
How will we know them, if we don't check them out? Because even though I have heard of different ones, I did not know just how many wolves are out there waiting to devour us, until I actually started to check them out. I was surprised to find that even two or three of the people that I thought were God fearing people that cared about people, and wanted to share the gospel of Jesus, were actually in that list of false teachers, and false prophets.
My research had brought me some real surprises of who is out there (in just false prophets/teachers) willing and ready to pounce on as many people as they can to take advantage of all that they can get to. And it was amazing to me that all those people that follows them do so believing such craziness that comes out of their teachings.
These so-called prophets go back to the 1800s and maybe even farther than that. But because I am living in this day and age, I am going with those that are of this day and age for the most part. Those that perhaps you have heard of, or maybe even have followed.
Consider the following passage of the Bible.
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Romans 16:17-18
I was going to start with Kennth Copeland and as you know other things had come up before I could do so. So now I plan to again start with him.
That will be on Monday May 22nd. So I apologize for the delay and hope you will come back to find out about this man that believes that he is a prophet and has become very rich off of the likes of people that sometimes thinks that by supporting his ministry, they get their prayers answered. And many of these people give him what little money they have. He does not discriminate from old or young. Rich or poor. If you want your prayers answered, no matter what they are, you can get them answered by giving him money. Which is out and out lying to those that truly want and need God to answer them.
And as I said before, he decided he could get rid of covid and there is a video on YouTube that actually showing how he did not stop covid. You should look it up. It is ridiculous to say the least. It is almost unbelievable if you don't actually see it. On Monday, I will be back for more on this false teacher and just what else he preaches.
Thanks for your patience and for coming by. God bless!
