Who is God (Part 23)

44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44

How do we know when Jesus is drawing someone?

Whenever someone speaks to another person who has not been born again, Jesus is drawing him to come.

Whenever the gospel is preached in a church that gives a salvation message, Jesus is drawing unbelievers to come to Him.

If the gospel is preached on a tv or radio program, and an invitation is given to accept Christ, He is drawing the unbeliever to ask Jesus into their hearts.

My dad led me to Jesus as an 8-year-old girl one evening, after church, in the car before we went into our home. Jesus was drawing me that night and I accepted him.

These are ways we come to understand that Jesus is drawing us to repentance.

The sad thing about it is all those that hear His call and refuse to accept Him as Lord and Savior. One day when He comes back, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. Phillipians 2:10   Romans 14:11

But those that have not accepted Him prior to that great event, will regret not doing so. Because it will be too late for them.

2 Corinthians 6:2 Now is the accepted time of Salvation

Time is running out my friends. We believe that the coming of Jesus is very near. And until then, what about our own mortality? Will we even make it to that time before we pass on? I don't know. But I do know because God's Word tells me, that we need to make that decision to repent of our sins and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior-now. And not to leave it to chance. Because the chance could lead us to where we do not want to go.

Thanks for coming by today, Friends.

Have a blessed day!
