Who is God (Part 25)

 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15

Those of us that know Christ as our personal Savior, also know that there will come a day when judgement will come to the world. Both the righteous and the unrighteous will be judged. Those that know Christ, will not be judged their sin. We that have accepted Him, will be judged according to the good deeds we did while we are on earth and be rewarded for those.

However, those that have rejected Christ will be cast into the Lake of Fire with the devil and his cohorts. 

Those that belong to God, will have their name written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

For those that rejected God, 

woe be to them.

Their names are not written in that book.

And they will end up going to that place that is a place of torment and fire. 

There will be no way to get to God now.

I think about that.

My friends.

My family members.

People I have known.

People that I never knew.

And it breaks my heart

that they won't spend 

eternity,

in the place

that would have been

prepared for them

had they accepted Christ

instead of rejecting Him.

This is a post that is a bit dark.

But it is the truth according to scripture. And it needs to be said again, and again and again.

Because the time gets shorter with every day

that passes.

God's judgement is fair.

And that is....

who God is.
