14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. But what does that mean? Most of know the answer to that question.
Jesus left his throne in glory, to come down to be born as a baby to live with us and of course eventually grow up to save humanity from our sin. He was God's only Son.
And so, I want to add to that, please do not let any false prophet or pastor tell you that they are God's flesh and blood as some have eluded to lately.
There have been some that have said that we are "Little God's" because God created us in His image.
Yes, He did create us in His image. But that does not mean that we are His equal to Him. And yet some are teaching those ridiculous things.
False preacher Jessi Duplantis said this in his worship service one time:
"Do you want to see God?" And then he twirled around to show that when you see him, you have seen God.
What utter blasphemy!!! In fact, just watching him do that made me sick to my stomach.
God sent His Son Jesus to dwell with us here so that He could do the one and only thing that anyone could do. To die for our sin. There is no other that could perform that mandate from our Father.
I am thankful every day of my life that Jesus came to do that. Because I have the steadfast promise that one day I will spend the rest of my eternity with the One that gave me life and died for my sin.
I hope you have that promise too. Because for many people, they will perish forever in the darkness of a burning hell.
And you know what? That is so unnecessary because of what Jesus did for us. But....that is....
Who God is!
Have a blessed day, Friends
Thanks for coming by!
