Midterm Election 2026

Hello Friends

I will not be starting the new Bible study until tomorrow, Oct 29th. It turns out that something has come up and a family member is coming over today.  As you can see below, I did post our next scripture reading for today.

I do hope you plan to cast your vote in the general/ midterm election. As is normal this will be very important, and I believe it will be a crazy one as the 2 sides battle for control. Only God knows how it will turn out. Please be praying that his perfect will be done.

I am also praying the following scripture:

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Our nations definitely needs healing. I got a call from a cousin recently where she ranted and raved about how Trump is evil and the antic-christ. Well Friends. He is not the anti-christ. He doesn't line up with Revelation of who the anti-christ will be.

Is he evil? He is human. And as a human he sins. Just like everyone does. Sin is evil. God despises evil. But there is a lot worse evil then any that Trump has done.

Those that call him the anti-christ have not read Revelation. And sadly some-like my cousin, do not want to read it.

At any rate, everyone has a right to vote for who they choose. I just encourage you to do so. We have the freedom to do this, unlike the countries of the world that don't.

God has blessed America. We should not take that lightly.

Anyway, back tomorrow with a new study. Have a wonderful day. God bless.

Revelation 20:3-4

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Explanation of Revelation 20:3–4

Revelation 20:3–4 describes Satan’s binding for a thousand years and the vision of the faithful reigning with Christ during that time.

Verse 3 — Satan’s Binding and Sealing

“And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Bible Hub+1

  • Action: An angel (not Jesus or a high-ranking archangel) throws Satan into the abyss, locks it, and seals it Enduring Word+1.

  • Purpose: This prevents Satan from deceiving the nations during the “thousand years” Bible Hub.

  • Meaning of “binding”: Many interpreters see this as a restriction on Satan’s ability to spread deception, not a total inactivity Explaining The Book. In amillennial view, it symbolizes the Gospel’s spread without major demonic obstruction; in premillennial view, it is a literal imprisonment before the Millennium Enduring Word+1.

  • Sealing: The seal signifies God’s authority over Satan, echoing Daniel 6:17 and Matthew 27:66 Bible Hub.

  • Release “a little season”: After the thousand years, Satan is freed for a short time, leading to a final rebellion (v. 7–8) Bible Hub.

Verse 4 — Thrones and the Reign of the Faithful

“Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them: and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” Bible Hub+1

  • Thrones: These represent authority and governance, given to the faithful Bible Hub.

  • Two groups:

    1. Martyrs — those slain for their testimony of Jesus and the Word of God Bible Hub.

    2. Faithful in life — those who refused to worship the beast, its image, or take the mark Bible Hub.

  • Reigning with Christ: This is often understood as a heavenly reign, not an earthly one, especially in amillennial interpretation Explaining The Book.

  • Judgment given to them: This is not a trial for salvation but the granting of their authority and role in the reign Bible Hub.

  • Came to life: In amillennial view, this is the “first resurrection” — spiritual life at conversion Explaining The Book.

Interpretive Views

  • Premillennial: The thousand years is a literal earthly reign of Christ and His saints; Satan’s binding is a literal imprisonment before that reign Enduring Word+1.

  • Amillennial: The thousand years is symbolic of the Church age; Satan’s binding limits his influence, and the reign is spiritual, in heaven Explaining The Book.

  • Common theme: Both agree that the faithful are honored and given authority, and that Satan’s deception is restrained during this period.

In summary: Revelation 20:3–4 shows God’s ultimate control over evil, the temporary restraint of Satan, and the vindication and reign of those who remain faithful to Christ, whether as martyrs or in steadfast obedience Bible Hub+2

Counselor Professional Identity/ Conclusion/ (Part four)

My Question is this: Is AI a good thing? Or are we dancing with the devil when we use it?

Counselor Professional Identity

The fourth lens examines what makes counseling a distinctly human profession. Sedlakova and Trachsel (2023) establish the philosophical foundation: AI lacks selfhood, moral agency, and relational reciprocity, meaning it cannot form a genuine therapeutic alliance or bear ethical accountability. Shoemaker et al. (2025) emphasize that clinical judgment, including the interpretation of ambiguity, risk, culture, and development, is a core counselor competency that must be preserved during AI integration. Crofford et al. (2026) document counseling professionals’ concerns about protecting the therapeutic relationship, maintaining human clinical judgment, and ensuring that counselors retain full ethical and legal accountability. Together, these sources establish that AI may support counseling tasks, but it cannot replace the human relationship, clinical wisdom, or professional responsibility that define the counseling profession.

Conclusion

As we consider AI in counseling through these four lenses: clinical effectiveness, ethical risk, cultural responsiveness, and professional identity, it offers accessibility and support, but its clinical scope is limited, it raises privacy and safety concerns, and it defaults to Western cultural assumptions that must not be overlooked. Because it cannot form a genuine therapeutic relationship, AI may support counseling but cannot replace the human counselor.

Revelation 20:1-2

20 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

Hello, Friends. So what do you think? Is AI a good thing? A not so good thing? Or an evil thing?  I for one intend to use it as little as possible in any circumstance. But we all have a right to decide. Tomorrow, I am going to start a new study on AI to discover what the Bible may have to say about these things that we are now finding the way into our lives. Thanks for coming by today and...
Have a wonderful and blessed day!
