What is Faith? Do you have any?

What is faith anyway? Do you, have any? 

We all have it to some degree. Or we wouldn't leave our homes to jump into an automobile and go where we need to go.

I know of a friend who is with Jesus now, she would not go anywhere in her car until she prayed for God to protect her. I think she had a true sense of what it was because she walked it out in her everyday life and in more than just that way. 

But what about the big things that come along? Those things that bogs us down with worry and uncertainty.

The bible says that we will have troubles in our lives. (John 16:33)

 But why? Aren't we as Christians supposed to live happy and carefree lives?

I accepted Jesus into my heart a long time ago at the very tender age of 8. And I remember thinking about that concept soon afterwards. That life was really going to be good and I wouldn't have any problems. I am not sure why I was thinking that way. I was just a child. Maybe I had heard something about it from the adults in my life or at church. I don't know.

What I was to find out, was just how completely wrong it was. And completely unbiblical.

At some time during that year, my mother. ended up in the hospital that year for the first time that I knew of, because of mental problems. And from there, my life went downhill in so many ways.

But as time went on, and once I really got serious with God, I have learned that each trial I got through, I would be encouraged by a little more faith than the trial before.

But its 2023 now. What has faith got to do with the here and now.

Come back tomorrow. Maybe we can figure it out. Or maybe we just know because we have lived it in our own lives.

Apology

 I had planned on having a post today for you. However, I have to apologize. Today has been a bit different and I am not going to be able to have one for you. 

But I will include a couple scriptures on faith for you to mediate on this evening.

• Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
• Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Remember that it is impossible to please God with out of Fath. When we go through the hard times in our lives, we know that God allows those times as opportunities to grow our faith. And he brings all things to the good of those that love Him.

God Will

 

Faith is not hoping God can. It is knowing He will. 

But just what is it that God can do?

Well, let's find out. Faith in God can...

1 Gives us strength Isaiah 12:2 

2 Gives us a song Isaiah 12:2

3 Gives rewards to those that seek him Hebrews 11:6

4 Gives us hope Hebrews 11:1

5 It saves us through God because it is his gift to us Ephesians 2:8

6 It can move our mountains 2 Corinthians5:7

These are just a sprinkling of bible verses that are about faith. Did you know there are 82 verses about faith and the word "faith' appears 514 times in the bible. 

You would think that faith is a very important subject to God. wouldn't you?

Well, we know that because of this next verse: 

 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

It is necessary for us as believers, to live by faith. And if it's not in our lives, it should be if we want God's rewards and favor.

When my husband passed, it was a shock. I didn't know how things would go for me financially as well as emotionally. I determined into my heart though, that I was going to have faith in my God, no matter what. 

Those weeks after his death were hard. But it presented me with a chance to prove that God was not leaving me or forsaking me just because death had taken my husband. And. not only has God not done that, but he is also blessing me.

Today it is amazing that almost a year later, how my life has changed and how God has and is taking care of me. 

Sad? Yes. That doesn't just stop when you love someone, and they pass on. But God has been here for me every second of everyday and i rejoice that my husband is safe in the arms of Jesus, and I will be there one day too.

My question is: How is your faith today? I pray it is where it needs to be in God. If not, make that a determined action and belief in your life. That no matter what comes, you know that you know that God is with you and will take care of you.

Finally, just know that I do not consider myself so good that faith comes easy for me. I have no bragging rights to that theory believe me. But I do know Whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.  2 Timothy 1:12.

Amen and Amen!!!!

Starting up again

 I happened to come by here today and see that even though I have not been posting, someone is still visiting here and its almost unbelievable to me that God is still using these posts for his Glory. I feels its almost a sign that I am to continue. I plan to start back tomorrow and do want you to know that it I will post a couple (but not limited to) or maybe three posts per week. My life has been very overwhelming since the death of my husband passed away almost a year ago. I am hanging on to God with every ounce of strength I have and it has not been easy. But He is helping me as I try to depend on him. My scripture for today is as follows:

... said unto them, Occupy till I come. Luke 19:13

This was from a parable that Jesus told and I would have to study it to be able to say more about what it means. But the above part of it reminds me that we are to live life until he comes back. And also until that happens, we must do that as well.  

At any rate, I am so glad that those that are still coming, have not given up on me. And I happily have you come. I will be back tomorrow. Have a very blessed rest of your day. 

End my posts?

 Hello Friends. I am seriously thinking about ending my posts here. I have been praying about it for some months now and I believe it is something that I should do as it seems like ever since my husband passed last fall, I am not able to do what I need to do to continue. I will let you know soon but if you want to comment on this decision please do so. Please be praying for me that I will do the will of God. Thank you.

What Are They Doing????

 If you read my last post about people that claim to be prophets, that it was about Kennth Copeland claiming to get rid o Covid-19 was crazy enough. However, the post today about him is probably the craziest, and the most damnable thing I have seen him do so far. Not to mention what the title of this video is entitled. Its downright creepy.

And yet, considering that in most of his videos he claims to be a little god and I Am which is another name for God in the Old Testament, I guess its expected to see some of the stuff he has and is doing.

But I am going to let it speak for itself. You can find it on Youtube under:  

Kenneth Copeland Takes Creepy to a Whole New Level

On some of these different videos supposedly showing "preachers" that are prophesying, I hear every so often, the narrators say, "You can't make this stuff up." 

Well, I disagree. Because someone certainly is. It sure isn't coming from God. And I would take a wild guess and say that all this is evil and coming from non-human sources. And those people are sure letting themselves look very ridiculous in trying to do something that God has not called them to do. And for what?

Oh yes, Money. If you look into the lives of these so-called teachers and prophets, you will find they live very lavish lifestyles. All because people fall for their stupidity and send them their hard-earned money.  

And the likes of Kennth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis don't try to hide the fact that they are rich. They actually brag about it. It makes me wonder why people follow them knowing all this and yet they do. But then looking at the following scripture, we find the answer to the why of it.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:3-4

Friends, if you are following Ken Copeland or Jesse Duplantis, I urge you to check out some of the insane videos of them on YouTube and do not send any money to them. They are dangerous people that will lead you right into hell because that is why they are heading unless they repent of their sin and make Jesus the Lord of their lives. 

I would add another person to this page of some one that I trust that also is on YouTube. His name is Justin Peters and he is an apologist. He can give you a lot of information that proves by scripture why these people cannot be trusted. Please check him out.

Teachers/Modern Day Prophets: What Do They Teach Really?

 

If you have heard of these people but never followed them, you may be in for the shock of your life. In my 70 plus years of being on this earth and much of it being in the church and studying the Bible on my own as well, I was very shocked at some of this so-called God's Word for us. I knew there were false prophets, but never did a study into too much of them. 

But how I got into researching them was because I simply started out looking on YouTube for information about Amish people and just interested in their lives and what they believe.

That led me right into videos on these people that declare that they are speaking for God today and instead are pulling millions of people away from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I couldn't pass up what they had to say. I have learned a lot. And it's sad and even appalling the stuff that has come out about them and as I viewed each one, it seemed the next one was crazier than the one before.

As I stated a few days ago, I am going to start with Kennth Copeland who claimed that he could cause death to Covid. A quote from Ken Copeland Fails to Save the U.S. From Covid -19 was given 3 years ago on Youtube.com by Fighting For the Faith, said this: "If you have been seeing this stuff that Kennth Copeland has been saying or even if you haven't, heard of it, this is taking cooko banana town and dumpster fires to a whole other level. Actually, its quite frightening."

Sadly, I agree. And if you go to watch the video for yourself, you will find that he also says that its actually embarrassing and if you look at his eyes, it is actually inhuman. I would add creepy to that although he might have said that as well.

I couldn't agree more. 

In that clip, it shows Copeland trying to blow covid-19 gone and even states that at 12:00 noon on March 29th he declared it to be over. And he claimed him to be in the office of God to executed judgment against it. He tries to appear that he is actually hearing from God in many of these clips. What I want to know is what God. Because they certainly they aren't from the God that created the world and everything in it. 

However, I can take at wild guess, at who he is talking to and probably be right.

I have to tell you friends, if you are interested in seeing this video please do because it will give you so more information about it than I can do in this blog. The title of this message is: Judgment is executed on Covid-19.

All I can say is the ordasity of this guy to do what he has done for years and continues to do has made him very rich which is another whole story in itself that he uses to explain that he has gotten rich through people like you and I that  aren't rich, and maybe even have had times where we barely get by, and  yet we listen to his craziness thinking and hoping that we will get rich too because he has told them to send in their money. And of course, God wants that for us too. 

He teaches the prosperity message and try's to add in some Bible but does a very poor job because for one thing, he is a false prophet but also because the Bible and God are just a tool he uses to get people to send him money. In one video clip I saw him say about covid, something about, a lot of people being out of work, and he turns to the camera and says, "Don't you stop giving to church, don't you stop." as he points his finger at the camera as well.

He doesn't care that covid was taking people out of their lively hood. Because he didn't want people to stop sending him money. That was his concern. And he readily brags about being rich. 

Friends he has I believe, four jet liners to travel in so that he doesn't have to fly commercial and be shut up in a tube of demons. Yep, that statement clip is something he said as well. He told a reporter that. I guess the rest of non-rich people have to go TWA or something and endure being in a tube of demons until we get rich too. 

In this video, Chris Rosebrough also shows a clip about how Kennth Copeland agreed with Paul Crouch (sorry, I am not sure of the spelling of his last name) talked about how we are "Little Gods." Oh, you don't want to miss that one. We can speak things into existence and do whatever God can do because we are made in His image. Please note that Paul Crouch has passed away.

Now we know that Copeland did not heal the world from Covid, (thus saith the Lord), but he did then (to an empty church that had to stay home because of it) said that it was going to get so hot in NY City that it was going to burn the virus right up at either 85 or 90 degrees to however it has to get to kill that thing. Right now, he said.

Well believe me this isn't the end of this clip. Nor is it the end of many other seemingly unbelievable things he's done to discredit the name of God, but I am going to leave you with just this and encourage you to go to this video to view the rest. 

But there is plenty more about him to come. Believe me. And as I said before please feel free to check me out about what I have been saying in these blogs by going to YouTube and listening to them for yourselves. If you are like me, it will be a great eye-opening experience. And not a good one. But we are warned of these kinds of people in the Bible and we need to know them for what they really do teach so that we are not caught up in their loonasy. 

On Saturday, May 27th, I hope to tell you about what happened as he took of the Lord's Supper one time. Let me tell you friends. talk about appalling, It made the time he blew the covid virus away (not) look like Sunday School picnic. 

I hope you have learned something about this man made god, and warn people not to follow him, if you know anyone that is.
