Whatever You Do, Do It As Too The Lord

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord, rather than men. Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom your serve. For he that does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong that he has done, and there is no respect of persons. Colossians 3:23-25

Yesterday's Trivia Question: 1 Kings 3:16-23

Two women came to King Solomon. They had each had a baby during the same night. But one of the babies had died and so the mother of that one switched her baby for the live child and claimed it was her own. The mother of the live child knew that the dead one was not hers. So they took the live child to King Solomon to decide who the child should belong to. How did he decide who the child's mother was?

Solomon had a sword brought to him. He told them to divide the child in two and each could have half of it. The real mother then asked him not to slay it but to give the child to the other mother. The king then knew who the baby belonged to and had it given to the one that did not want it slain.

Today's Trivia Question: Revelation 21: 1

The bible says that one day heaven and earth as we know it will pass away. What will happen then?

Hi Friends. King Solomon knew how to handle the situation between the two mothers and the baby that had lived. Oh that we would have that kind of wisdom in the decisions that judges make everyday. God had said that there would be no greater king than he. However, many judges and far too many I would add, do not have any kind of wisdom as they decide their cases. That is why, we need to pray for them, that God will work in them to make the right decisions on the issues that land on their desks everyday. Thanks for coming, and have a blessed Friday.
