Lost?

On August 4, 2018, I published a blog about a dream that I had had the night before. I titled it, 'Lost, Finding The Way Back Home.'

The dream was true but that is all it was. A dream. Or maybe God had given it to me to share with someone who may not have any hope.

Before I started to work on today's blog, I asked God for inspiration on what I would write. And as always, He did.

There are so many people today that are lost. Not knowing or even wanting to find their way home to God.

I think people take a look around at what is happening in the world and maybe in their own lives, and wonder why God doesn't just wipe our planet clean of all the violence, and craziness here.

And the time will come when he will do that. But we wonder when he will because we sometimes get sick of waiting.

This passage explains why he is waiting, I believe.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9a

God has reasons for everything that He has ever done, has had a purpose. And so they continue to go even to this minute.

It is simple so far as to why He has not yet wiped the world clean. It isn't time because He is waiting for all that will-will come into repentance. He doesn't want anyone to perish.

Until then, our breath with him is not lost. Our strength in him is not lost. Our trust in him is not lost...

For those of us that truly know God, we are not lost with no way to find the way home. No matter how we might feel at any given moment. No matter how confused we might be at times. And even as the world gets crazier, we know that just sometime around the corner of life, God will clean up the mess that humanity through its sin, has made. In His time.

That's enough for me. How about you?

Thanks for coming by today, Friends. God bless!
