Always Trust in God: #3 Nations and Kingdoms

Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: Luke 21:10

If you take note of the news on the TV, you will know that there are nations that have fought against other nations and it is not a new thing. They go way back to biblical days. to be sure. Israel, Babylon, The battle of Jericho, Assyria and more.

More modern days of war have been between Israel and Palestine. And what of those that our own nation have been involved in? The Civil War, World War 2.

This sure is not an exhaustive list. And they won't stop until the very last one, the Battle of Armageddon.

Let us remember what war is going on right now in our own country. The battle of right and wrong, Republicans and Democrats, blacks and whites,

Simply put in all of war, is the battle between good and evil.

War can start war right in our own homme. Between husbands and wives, parents and children, friend against friend, and children against other children...just to name a few of those.

Jesus said, "And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand." Mark 3:24-25

The result of all these wars, no matter what kind they are, is clear. A kingdom, a nation, a house divided against it self cannot will not stand.

But we do have the hope that eventually, when God deems that he has waited long enough for the human race to come to him, that is when Jesus will come to fight the last battle and then there will be no more war. Isaiah 2:4

Until then, we must trust that he will take care of us. There are two sides to consider. Are we with Jesus? Or with the devil? That is the battle we each face. Good and evil. It is our choice. God is not going to force us to make a choice between them. He hopes we make the right one, because those that don't, face judgment and everlasting damnation. But he leaves that up to each induvial. Why? Because he will not infringe on our own free will.

Thanks for coming by, Friends. It is almost the end of another week in November. Where is this year going?  God bless you today and every day.
