How to Pray Through the Entire Year – One Month at a Time

Leading into the end of the year, November is a wonderful time to focus your prayers on holiness. Living a holy life doesn’t involve trying to be perfect; it involves just doing your best to reflect God’s character. Pray for the Holy Spirit to sanctify you by removing anything in your life that leads you to sin and distances you from God, and by helping you to make choices that lead you closer to God every day. The Bible urges you in 1 Peter 1:15-16: “But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’”
Ask God to help you confess sin quickly and to live a life that honors him as your loving and holy Heavenly Father. Pray for the courage to say “no” to temptation and the passion to say “yes” to God’s will. The more you pray for holiness, the more you’ll grow into the person God wants you to become, and the more you’ll experience blessings as a result of that.

I don't think we as most humans see ourselves of being holy.
(if we are honest with ourselves)
We are too sinful.
And God hates our sin.
However, He calls us to a holiness that we could never be
without the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
It is something we should try to stive for
in our daily walk with God.
Be holy, as I am holy.
Help us God to become holy as you are holy.
Because you have called us through the Blood of Your Son.
