Isaiah 26:3-4

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.  Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength: Isaiah 26:3-4

How easy is it for us to be in peace in these times of government turmoil, the worry of war breaking out, the economy clearly out of control?

Left to our own thoughts and the fears of what is happening and what may come at any time, it is a scary time.

And yet, God calls us to trust in Him. Why? Because nothing gets by Him that He does not know or care about.

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3

And yet, we do wonder about coming events. We do worry about what is happening in our homes and/or lives.

We sometimes live in a constant state of anxiety.

But if we get into His word and stay centered on it and the fact that while things may be fearful to us, we can stay calm. We can believe Him. We can trust Him. 

And that is what He asks of us. To trust in Him. Because when we don't know-He does know. 

Nothing sneaks past Him that He isn't watching.

And there will come a time, when He stops just watching, and fixes all the wrong things that we try not to worry about in this present time.
