Keeping the Ten Commandments Lord. Really? (part3)

There are people that think that God just wants to take away all our fun in this life. But sometimes "our fun" can get us into trouble. And so he has given us the rules for our lives that if we obey them, it will keep us out of the trouble we would otherwise get ourselves in to.

6. We are not to kill. Why? The answer is obvious. We may end up serving life in prison. Our prisons are filled with people that have killed someone, been caught and will never be free again. And some are on death row.
7. We are not to commit adulty. By committing adultery, it is taking something that does not belong to us. It could lead to families breaking up, and it has for millions of people. And who does it usually hurt the most? The children. And sometimes those children grow up to repeat it in their own marriages.
8. We are not to steal. Again, it is taking something that does not belong to us. Which can land us in jail as well.
9. Do not lie about your neighbors. God wants us to live peacefully-as much as we can with our neighbors. We should be a witness to them for him and not a hindrance to them possibly coming to him.. Why would they want him if they see us behaving in a way that we are lying or treating them in ways that do not please God?
10. Do not be jealous of the neighbor's property or their spouse. Again, it is wanting something that someone else has.

God's rules for our protection. Not to take our fun away. Though sometimes there are times that it is not easy to obey them. We are not perfect and he knows that. But there is always a way out for us as Christians when we break them. And that is through his forgiveness. All we have to do is ask him and he promises to cleanse all of our sins.

 Thanks to God that because of Jesus he has the propensity to forgive us when we ask him. Amen!

Delay=protection

Thanks for stopping by Friends. Have a blessed day! God be with you!

Happy Hump Day Did you know that being aware that you're a perfectly imperfect work of art is only the beginning of making room for great things to come into your life? In fact I am especially grateful for the reminder Maxine Waters shared at a recent speaking engagement. She said ---> "Be confident that you're special." Its true and in case you missed it YOU are wonderfully made! After all whatever you tell yourself about yourself about your life about your limitations you will believe. Join me today in saying I'm believing in myself and saying "NO LIMITS!" Affirmations: I now decree and declare - I live my life fully and it is easy for me to live my truth. I always honor my intuition. It's easy for me to dream and move into action bringing my dreams to life. My truth is I know that I am blessed to be blessing to others and I am naturally compassionate. Fear has no place in my life. I am supported and all is well. Selah Go make it a fantastic day by taking the self imposed limitations off and live life to the full Be the light 'The Inspirationista' . . . . . #selfhelp #quotes #MyLifeKeys #CoachValencia #lifecoach #motivation #goals #personaldevelopment #message #happiness #inspiring #purpose #affirmations #truth #inspirationalquotes #quoteoftheday #author #teacher #spirituality #balance #WednesdayWisdom #namaste #Women2Follow #positivethinking #empowerment #bestsellingauthor #leadership #girlboss #positivevibes
