Revelation 22:20 A One Line Prayer For These Times

I keep hearing it from my friends and family. I even keep saying it to them. Have you heard it from the people in your circle? Have you been praying it? That single line of prayer that says:

Even so, come Lord Jesus Revelation 22:20

The news we hear on our tv's is disturbing.

The latest killing of the innocent children on a soccer field in the Golden Heights may have sparked the killing of the Hamas leader in Iran. And if so, who could blame them? And as Marco Rubio stated in an interview with Sean Hannity, "Hamas no right to complain, because as we speak, they are actively looking to carry out assassinations of former US leaders including President Trump here inside the United States."

They have said they are going to attack Israel again. Are we next because we are Israel's ally? And also because of the weak leaders of the current presidency?

Friends, the war going on over in those countries threaten us here in the US. And so, is it any wonder that those of us that know what is coming in the book of Revelation are praying:

Even so, Lord Jesus come.

I have to tell you that I even add the word quickly to that when I repeat it. Because what is happening is scary. It may be our cities that could be blown to smithereens like what happened in Israel in October of 2023. It could be our loved ones who would be taken hostage. Raped. Our babies murdered. It could be us next.

It could happen to us.

And yet what was it that Jesus had said?

When these things begin to happen, look up. For your redemption is nigh. Luke 21:28.

Friends, these things are happing and so our question is when will our redemption come?

Well, no one can answer that this side of heaven. Though many have tried. But we know that it will. And all we can do about it is pray, even so Lord Jesus, come.

That is our prayer for today as we listen to the horrible news on tv.

And may God grant us peace as we meditate on His Word.

Thank you for stopping by today.

God bless you!
