God loved the Jewish people because from them came his Son Jesus. They were his "children", a "holy people." Deuteronomy 14:2.
But for those of us that are not Jews, where does that leave us with God? We know he loves us, but are we second class to them? Have you ever wanted to learn more about those that he called his children of the Old Testament?
I have and so for a time in this blog, I want to start looking into some of those people's lives and why they were special in God's eyes. We will begin tomorrow with Abram, or Abraham as he was later called.
Why was he so special? And what did God call him to do? How does his life relate to ours in some way?
I hope you will join me tomorrow as we get a glimpse into what we can find out about this man Abram.
