“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Mathew 11:28-30

Have you ever been tired, bone-weary where problems of the day, week month or even longer just seem to seep into your very soul?

Yesterday, I decided to lay down around 4 pm for a short nap. When I woke up it was about 3 a.m. this morning. I was shocked at first because I don't usually sleep that many hours at a time. I had not had any major problems. I had not been worrying about anything, at least that I knew of. Why had I slept so long?  But then I remembered. I had been up most of the night the night before and was doing some extra things at home and my body just decided that it needed more rest then what it had gotten. It was that simple.

However, I know that there have been times when I really was bone weary from worrying about problems, both past, present, and future too. They can tend to interrupt our life.Sometimes they can confuse, make us sick, and sometimes can even unhinge us.

But we know that by that scripture that  Jesus wants to give us rest from everything that burdens us. He is our helper to get through whatever we are going through. And whatever we might be worrying about or struggling with. He knows what we need and he wants us to depend on him.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Mathew 6:25-34
Today, if you are tired of life, tired of being bone tired, tired of just being. Cast your anxiety on Jesus, ( 1 Peter 5:7) who cares for you, for he is all the answer that you need if you have accepted him as your personal Lord and Savior!
